RETIREMENT HOMES MINISTRY

Current Worship Roster Download

A caring team of ordained and lay people from HCUC assist in taking worship services to eight Retirement Homes and Villages within the Hutt City Uniting Congregations areas of locale. These are held once a month in each place, on a rostered system. the half-hour services of Good News are warmly received by the residents and the Management. It encourages and refereshes the spirit of aged people who are at quite a different time of life.

Hutt City Uniting Congregations bring together in one organisation congregations from Stokes Valley, Wainuiomata, Waiwhetu, Avalon, Central Lower Hutt (Woburn), Maungaraki-Normandale, and Petone. This move makes far better use of our resources and buildings to adapt to the changes in our economical and political landscape of the New Millenium.
